Communications and Advocacy Intern
Sarah Gao is AAPCHO’s Communications and Advocacy Intern. She is a rising senior at Washington University in St. Louis studying Psychological & Brain Sciences and Finance. Sarah grew up in the suburbs of Boston and now lives in the Bay Area. She is interested in doing work to support health equity for Asian American and underserved populations. She is also passionate about reducing mental health stigma in the Asian American community. At Wash U, she is involved with badminton club and leads students in holding creative writing workshops at a local women’s domestic violence shelter. Outside of schoolwork, she enjoys listening to music, watching figure skating, and spending time with family.
