Sandra is AAPCHO’s Policy Intern, where she supports legislation related to hepatitis B, PPS, and other relevant areas. She is a rising senior at Stanford University, pursuing a minor in Human Rights, B.S. in Biology, and M.S. in Biomedical Informatics. She aspires to pursue a career in academic medicine and advance disease prevention research. In addition to her work with AAPCHO, she serves as the student representative on the National Task Force on Hepatitis B and U.S. Ambassador to the Myanmar Liver Foundation. At school, she is heavily engaged in hepatitis advocacy, research of the microbiome, and the human rights community. Outside of school, you can find her cooking with family, doing photography, or playing tennis.
