Ms. Kazue Shibata is a founding member and the first executive director of Asian Pacific Health Care Venture (APHCV) since 1991; has a BA in Sociology from the Humboldt State University, has served on numerous boards and taskforces including California Primary Care Association (CPCA), Community Clinic Association of Los Angeles County, and California State Office of Minority Health; developed and taught a public health course on the Asian Pacific communities at UCLA; is awardees of the Health Leader Program of Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Durfee Foundation Sabbatical Program, and of Women of the Year by Los Angeles Mayor. She has recently received a certificate from the John E. Anderson Graduate School of Management at the University of California Los Angeles for the Johnson & Johnson /UCLA Health Care Executive Program. Ms. Shibata has been on the AAPCHO board since 1990.
