The Center for AIDS Prevention Studies (CAPS) and the AIDS Research Institute of the University of California, San Francisco created an updated version of the Asian and Pacific Islander HIV Prevention Fact Sheet. According to the fact sheet, Asians and Pacific Islanders in the United States had the highest estimated annual percentage increase in HIV/AIDS diagnosis rates of all race/ethnicities.  Studies are showing that the number could be even higher, when underreporting and a lack of detailed HIV surveillance are taken into consideration.
