"Diabetes in AANHPI: A Call to Action" and "Moving Forward on Health Reform: Optimal Health for All"

After coordinating the Hawaii Diabetes Symposium on September 2011, participating partners joined together to form the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, & Pacific Islander Diabetes Coalition (AANHPI Diabetes Coalition) to address the diabetes disparities that affect AANHPIs.

Diabetes in Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders: A Call to Action
The AANHPI Diabetes Coalition, in partnership with the National Council of Asian Pacific Islander Physicians (NCAPIP) and the Joslin Diabetes Center Asian American Diabetes Initiative (AADI), will reconvene on May 18, 2012 at the Crystal City Sheraton Hotel in Arlington, VA to share findings from the Hawaii Diabetes Symposium conference in order to translate them into action steps.

Moving Forward on Health Reform: Optimal Health for All
NCAPIP’s 2012 conference, Moving Forward on Health Reform: Optimal Health for All,” will be held the following day on May 19, 2012 at the same location.
